After a very emotional beginning to Monday Night Raw, I don’t think anyone anticipated that the shock was just beginning.
(SPOILERS)
Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins faced Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler and beat them to become Raw tag team champions. After a few brief moments congratulating each other and basking in the win, Dean Ambrose turned on Seth Rollins. The attack was brutal, with Seth refusing to fight back at all.
At some points, we got bits of audible banter, mostly of Dean saying, “You know why, say it again,” and Seth responding with, “I’m sorry.” I guess if I think back to their reunion, did Seth never say he was sorry? Or is Dean still so angry with him that he turned, that he can never forgive Seth? Either way, with Roman out for the near future and Seth and Dean now apart, it appears The Shield has ended once again.
So, what will become of the new tag team title holders? How can they go on defending if they can’t stand each other? Raw may be must-see-TV moving forward.
