Read Time:1 Minute, 34 Second

Last night, after arriving in New Orleans, Chris and I spent some time walking around Bourbon Street.  Just as we were about to call it a night (after driving all morning and being out all day, 10 PM was our limit), we noticed a black Suburban with a “WWE Official Vehicle” sticker in the window.  Next, a camera crew exited and then the crowd formed.  This is what happened next:

That’s right, we got to “walk with Elias!”  We then followed him down the street to Razzoo and watched him play a 30-minute surprise concert for the fans there.  To see those videos, check out my YouTube channel here.

Afterwards, we spent some time talking to other fans in the street about these kinds of events.  My biggest question, has this ever happened before?  According to some people from Toronto who had been to the past 9 WrestleManias, this sort of thing never happens.  It also got me thinking about where Elias was a year ago, at least in my own mind.  I remember that I did not like Elias.  I used to skip through his segments and I, “just didn’t get it.”  Now, let’s recall, in my first post, I felt the same way about The New Day.  How long will it take for me to learn my lesson?  So, some advice for myself mostly, but maybe other people can gain some perspective, is that I cannot count these performers out at the get-go.  I have become fans of so many superstars just after giving them the littlest chance.  I’ve done it with The New Day, Elias, and even Matt Hardy.  So, don’t pass judgement too quickly.  Superstars whose personas I thought were silly or couldn’t get behind have become some of my favorite superstars.  So, future advice to me, give these people a chance!
