This past week on Raw, we open with Roman Reigns calling out Kurt Angle to find out where Brock Lesnar is. If you recall, we were promised by Vince McMahon that Brock Lesnar would be at Raw in Dallas and Roman Reigns was suspended. So…what is Roman doing there? Well, the management agrees, and Roman gets arrested. While he is in cuffs, Brock Lesnar does indeed show up and offers a major beat down to Roman. To me, there are few things that look more dangerous than taking a German suplex without your hands out. Not that you use your hands, but you know, you brace your body with them, put them out to help your back catch less. Either way, ouch. What I would like to know is where was Kurt to stop that from happening? Did he just not care? Did he agree with some in the crowd and think that Roman deserved it? Who is Kurt protecting?
I’d love to see a backstage private conversation between Kurt and Vince, with Vince telling Kurt that, “if Roman Reigns shows up, arrest him, and I’ll take care of the rest.” Interesting, but hard to think that Brock would be okay be used as Vince’s pawn.
