Daniel Bryan and The Miz will be facing off once again at WWE Super Show-Down.  But this time, it is not just to put their feud to a rest.  It is for an opportunity at the WWE Championship.  That’s right, Daniel Bryan is on the fast tack to a title match and possible title reign.  The question is, with all that AJ Styles has been able to do for the championship, but it still falling to the background thanks to WWE’s poor promotion of it over their Universal title,  will a new superstar be able to elevate the WWE Championship to its former glory?  Or, are they finally ready to give fans a match that will get them talking about this championship?

In my opinion the WWE Championship is the most important championship.  The Universal title was MIA for way too long, that the novelty of a new title did not get the pop that it needed.  Even so, WWE is working so hard to have that championship be the main one, that they have let the importance of the World Heavyweight Championship fall to the side.  And where will the Universal title be at Super Show-Down?  Oh, just around Roman Reign’s waist as it does not get defended.  Sound familiar?

Well, don’t be surprised.  They have to wait for Brock Lesnar to be available to get his rematch, and he doesn’t want to travel to Australia to do it.  Okay, that sounded like I’m mad at Brock, but I’m not.  He got a good contract, can’t fault him for that.  Let’s get back on track.

So with the Universal Title being only seen and not defended at Super Show-Down, will the WWE Championship be the main event?  Everything I know about pro-wrestling screams YES!  But, we’ve seen this before.  Will AJ Styles versus Samoa Joe win out to main event or will it be yet another match featuring Roman Reigns?

Fingers crossed.  You can see Super Show-Down live on the WWE Network airing at 6 PM AEST (Australia).  That’s 4 a.m. ET/3 a.m. CST.
