There are a lot of action figures out there when it comes to wrestling toys. Besides the slew of belts, shirts, and superstar gear that you can get, one of the next best toys to have as a wrestling fan are action figures. For those of you who know my story, I did not grow up watching wrestling. Because of this, I did not grow up with any wrestling toys or other memorabilia. This sad fact had to end, and what better way than with my first wrestling toy.

Traditional or something different

Since I’m new to the action figure game, it was hard to determine which route I should take. My husband grew up with Sting, The Outsiders, and Ric Flair (obviously a WCW kid), but my life has only known WWE until very recently. He got a very nice James Ellsworth for Christmas a few years back, but I didn’t know if a traditional action figure was my style.

Finally, after months of searching, my co-worker got me for secret Santa and hit it way out of the park. My very first set of wrestling fan toys!

Paige! My very first Funko Pop!

What are Funko Pop!’s?

No doubt you’ve seen versions of these for almost every movie, TV show, or popular culture phenomenon around. Funko Pop! toys are vinyl collectible action figures that look like bobble heads but with heads that don’t bobble. They stand no taller than 3.5-4 inches tall, but don’t think that at this stature they don’t stand out. The look of them definitely draws conversation towards them and they are just plain fun to have around.

New to Funko

For now, I have four Funko figures in my collection. I’m planning on getting several more this Christmas, and I’m looking at getting The Rock and maybe a few more recent faces. The very collectible “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt is also on my list. It is an Amazon exclusive, so hopefully my hubby gets one soon before they are all gone!
