It has been a while since I’ve been here. I wanted to share a few thoughts on the upcoming Raw Women’s Championship match.

The Man stays on top

Becky Lynch has held the Raw Women’s Title since WrestleMania, and with her many defenses, it doesn’t look like she plans on dropping it any time soon. I was beginning to think that without Charlotte, a good feud could not be had. But after her face-to-face confrontation and mini-brawl with Natalya, I’ve changed my tune.

Fatal-4-Way

The women this past week put on an amazing fatal-4-way match for the number one contender of the women’s title. Even if the crowd didn’t seem to like it, I thought it was exciting with a lot of hard hits, near falls, and twists. Natalya ended up winning the match and had a face-to-face with Becky. To me, that would’ve been enough to propel them to SummerSlam. It was not for WWE though, who had the women mini-brawl on Raw during A Moment of Bliss.

Let’s leave it there

So now, I think we’re good. I don’t need to see Becky and Natalya forced to team up in a tag team match next week. I don’t even need to see them have a contract signing. We should not see them anymore until their match at SummerSlam.

Last thing – if ya didn’t see Smackdown Live, go back and watch it. New Day on commentary is such a breath of fresh air.

  1. I agree about New Day on commentary. Say what you want about Renee – She’s not the commentary problem. The commentary problem is the three people they currently have on the desk, Raw – Cole, Graves and Young. Fire all three and put New Day on there instead!
