Memorabilia

As many of you know, I really enjoy listening to the Sirius XM radio show Busted Open with Dave LaGreca and regular co-hosts Bully Ray (yes, Bubba Dudley) and Mark Henry.   And luckily, while I’m listening to them, I come up with a lot of the ideas that I then get to write about here.

A week or two ago, Bully and Dave were discussing items in each others, “man caves,” and what they have in each.  They then put it out to the Busted Open nation to call in with what their wives “allow” them to have in the house.  And I will say, I wanted to call in and say, “hey man, the memorabilia in our house is MINE!”  Now, at this point, I don’t have what might be considered a ridiculous amount of memorabilia, just a few Funko Pop figurines (Nikki Bella, Brie Bella, Paige, and John Cena) and a very cool artistic poster of Daniel Bryan doing the “yes” chant that is currently sitting above my computer as I write this (and shown in the cover picture).

After being at WrestleMania this past week, I thought about what my next piece may be.  Will I splurge and buy a title belt?  I’m not sure, probably not, and mostly because it would be impossible to decide which one to get.  So the question remains, how much is too much wresting memorabilia?

Can’t stop, won’t stop

I don’t think you can really put a limit on it.  I mean, every day, or at least every week, new items come out that we can find to add to our collections.  Also, what would be constituted as memorabilia?  I have several t-shirts, every WrestleMania program for the three I’ve been too, posters, pictures, newspaper clippings…where does it end?!

Favorites

My favorite piece of new memorabilia is probably my Conner’s Cure bracelet.  Working in healthcare, people see it everyday, and I’m able to tell them a little about what I love (wrestling), while also giving them information for supporting a great cause.

What is your favorite piece of wrestling memorabilia and why?
